It’s All About Sugar Free Cake!

Because nobody should be cakeless

Your cake is sugar free, low calorie and plant based.

Hello! Luzolo here saying a huge thank you for buying this cake.  If it’s the first time you’ve had one of our products we are so happy to welcome you to our family, we’ve been waiting for you, where have you been all these years?  If you’re a regular customer, welcome back – this is a new improved recipe, so let me know what you think!

About the ingredients

Sweetened with xylitol (which is not suitable for babies or pets – however, on the upside, this means more for you), makes this lower in calories and often prefered by those with diabetes as mentioned by Diabetes UK.

The spelt flour which is super healthy as an added bonus.

Did I mention that it’s a new recipe? It’s a new recipe with extra taste yet still sugar free!

Note that if you have a message or decorations these are sugar based which can easily be removed before you tuck in. The topping on these cakes are an optional extra because even though the topping is free from added sugar, it does contain natural sugars.  The nutritional information on the label does not include any decoration or message on the cake. All of which can easily be removed.

If you’re new to xylitol you might want to try to restrain yourself from wolfing it all down.  Although xylitol is a completely natural product, excess can have a laxative effect 😐. However, many foods and sweets have it a fairly common ingredient these days especially chewing gum therefore the chances are that you’ve had it already.

Read more about Xylitol here.

Storing your cake

Pop it in the fridge if you have to wait for a few days before you can tuck in (sigh), either in or out of the delivery box until you’re ready to eat.  Eat it ideally at room temperature when it will be extra soft and moist. If your cake is naked keep it in the plastic bag it came wraped in to prevent it drying out. If you’re having it today or tomorrow it will be fine kept at room temperature.

Once it’s cut, try not put it back into the box it came in as it can make the cake become dry (if this does happen, you can pop a slice into a microwave for a couple of seconds, or put it into an airtight container at room temperature for a few hours).

If you have only eaten a slice or few, cover the cut edges with cling film then place the cake in fridge. You can also place the cake, or slices, in a plastic bag and freeze or refrigerate.

I doubt you will get to store it for that long!

If it’s the first time you’ve had one of our products we are so happy to welcome you to our family, we’ve been waiting for you.  Where have you been all these years?  If you’re a regular customer, welcome back – this is a brand new recipe, so please let me know what you think!
